Basics or few things before getting started
This blog is just for begginers.. as i am just a noob to this new experiences over android devices..
please try this installations, flashings, rootings, and everything with your own risk as no-one is going to take the responsibility after you void your phone warranty. you have to void the warranty of your android device to install a custom rom or any other non-official rom. try these things if you have any other extra device. some people have got bricked their devices and also i have got bricked mine devices few times while im trying those thing but unfortunately all those things encouraged me to do again and again sooo lol :D
just try to read the whole blog once or twice till u get understand the process and plz download all the required tools and files through the given links or any other sources but always find the matching or simmiliar resources with a good understand of the on going process prior to start the installation.
required things..
- sony ericsson x10 mini mobile (x10 mini pro can be used as there are similliar files to dowload but do it with a great understanding; robyn is used for x10 and the codename used for x10mini pro is mimmi and x10 is e10i but the mini pro is u20i) [i tried this on factory unlocked devise so i dont recommendt this process on a factory locked device]
- root the device means u have to void the warranty and get access to the system
- unlock the bootloader of the phone to install a new kernal
- install the custom rom -i the rom i used is minicm9 as it is much featured and well stable but i found the most suitable or the rom with best performance with the device is minicm 7 gingerbread version..
- installing required gapps for the device
- you need a good internet connection, a data cachble, a mini sdcard with enough free space
- required files are given below.
some of these downloads are cracked versions so disable your antivirus before you proceed to download or otherwise your downloaded file may get corrupted.

ok then we are good to go to the process....
1st step - root your device
1. now install the downloaded one click root software and keep remember you should have pre installed the sony pc companion for your device.
2. go to the settings of your device applications and enable unknown sources. and also enable usb debugging and awake option from the development of phone settings.
3. if you have opened the pc companion now you have to close it. if you have installed adb drivers on your pc - go to task manager and close all processes called 'adb'
4. now open the one click root software and after that connect your phone.
5. registration key will be included at the read me file in the zip file or you can see it in the image posted below.
6. when the phonec is detected by the software click root and dont remove phone or anything while the rooting process is finished.
to confirm that you successfully rooted your device download root checker app from the android stores and verify the root status. if it asked the permissions by the super user to allow the required permissions to verify the root process by root checker app click grant.
2nd step - now you have to unlock the boot loader of your device inorder to install ics nAa kernal to install the mini cm rom.
now you need to install the downloaded flash tool.
